This year in conjunction with “Y” Club week, the State YMCA is kicking off a “Y” Club Poster contest. The rules for the contest are as follows.
1. “Y” Club members may submit their posters by April 25, 2012
2. Files should be sent as a PDF file. However, original files will be requested from winning poster contestants. Please email all submissions to info@yclub.org
3. Each poster should be 17 x 11 (or 11 x 17) and in color. They should include the following three elements.
a. The YMCA logo- In order to adhere to national YMCA standards. The logo cannot be changed from its original form and nothing should be touching the logo in the poster design.
b. A Creative Slogan for example “Y” join “Y” Club? “Y” Not? All Slogans should be a generic “Y” Club membership slogan and should not reflect the state theme.
c. At least 1 Picture or Design to support the slogan
4. The top poster selected will be printed and distributed to all Clubs at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year for every Club statewide to use.
5. The winning contestant will receive free registration to Youth Training Conference. The winner will be announced at Christian Life Conference.
