- Put up posters in your school…and…around town if you’re real energetic.
- Have every Club member wear a “Y” Club T-shirt on January 24 (Tuesday), “Y” Club T-shirt Day.
- Use the sample proclamation on the inside page to have your Mayor/Commissioner proclaim “Y” Club Week in your city/county.
- Submit our sample newspaper article(s) to your paper. Be sure to add “local flavor.” Also, ask the paper to take a picture of your entire Club to accompany the article.
- Take the sample radio announcements to your local radio station(s).
- Find 10 new members to join during “Y” Club Week and send those affiliation fees to your District Director. If you do this, your Club will have 100 points added to your total points in the Ten Point Program!
- Submit posters to the poster contest online. Contest winner will be announced at CLC and winner will receive a free YTC.
- Lastly, be sure everyone in school knows your “Y” Club is an active, very involved, leadership type Club. After all, that’s the purpose of this information…hope you’ll use it.
